no problem! the uk is treating me well. i'm poor and looking for work during a recession, but i think being broke and looking for work in a new place is more fun sometimes than doing it at home! edinburgh is fun to explore.
but at the same time i'm so homesick it hurts

i want all day breakfast at the diplomat! how was your first year at RC?

Oh man! i understand the homesick feeling. I've been in BC for the past week... and i really want to be able to hit up Read's Newsstand or walk across the train bridge. It's sweet though.
RC has been... interesting. i love love love it, but it was super weird. the whole internship scene is weird too, but hopefully i'll settle in.
hope you find a job soon! I kind of wish i was in the UK with you. lots of photo opportunities there! The poor, jobless scene sounds kind of scary but mostly like an adventure. i'm sure in a few years you'll look back and realize what a sweet time it was. (:

oh yeah that's right! it's internship time! what are you doing for it? why was RC super weird haha? it was a crazy mix of people. i liked the energy but i'm sure you're all super close now. when you've got some time off you should come to edinburgh!

Um... i'm working at a camp on Vancouver Island. It's like 45 minutes from Andrew's house (we're together, in case you didn't already know). It's pretty sweet so far, but i have only been here for like 5 days so... Yeah. The bad part is that i only finish this internship September 2nd, then i have my sister's wedding, then the NEXT DAY school starts. So... i will not get even one day of summer break. Looks like Edinburgh is a bit out of the question

maybe next spring break though!
